The arms are those of Lionel Tollemache, 4th Earl of Dysart

Of spherical shape, the circular pedestal base and hinged cover with applied straight gadroon borders. The body engraved with a contemporary crest and earl's coronet, the cover similarly engraved with a coat-of-arms, supporters and motto below an earl's coronet above an engraved paterae border, scratch weight: '8=10'.


Commissioned by Lionel Tollemache, 4th Earl of Dysart for Ham House
Sold by order of the Trustees of the Tollemache Estates, removed from Peckforton Castle, Cheshire
