Of oval form, the cover, sides, and base set with panels of translucent purple on a linear engine-turned ground, surrounded by gold foliate borders over purple enamel, and white enamel frames. The cover centred with an oval enamel miniature of a young lady seated in an idyllic landscape writing with cupid at her shoulder, set within gold foliate and white enamel ‘frame’.
