Gold and Agate

Width: 10.2 cm, 4.01 in.
Of rectangular form, in the manner of James Cox, agate exterior mounted with delicately cast rocaille scroll, foliate and floral borders with a central cartouche depicting a winged scribe set against a chased background and adorned with rocaille decoration as in the borders. The interior compartments lined with red velvet, in which sit two sets of ivory slides and two glass bottles with gold stoppers.
