18ct Yellow and pink gold box of round form my lid, adorned with a central rosette of scrolls set against a chased background, bordered with filigree braids. The lid, sides, and base finely decorated with a concentric engine-turned ground with dots.
 

Baptised 15 August 1741. Registered maker's mark on 7 June 1769. 10 December 1781 registered at Quai des Orfevres. 17 July 1784, Guard. 1785, Guard. His name does not appear on the 1791-93 register.
