The teapot of inverted pear form, the body engraved with floral festoons interwoven with foliate branches, the domed cover with bud finial, with scrolling wooden handle. The shaped and gadroon bordered waiter stand with conforming decoration. Both the body of the teapot and stand engraved with the heraldic crest of Sir Frederick George Banbury, 1st Baron Banbury of Southam.
