An Early 19th Century Micromosaic Gold Mounted Snuff Box

The green porphyry hardstone box and gold mounts circa, 1825

Length: 8.3 cm, 3.7 in

 

The mosaic with a fine scene of the Temple of Sybil and falls at Tivoli Gardens. The porphyry box with gold mounts the thumb piece formed as scrolling shells.
