The domed base enamelled with mythological scenes of love and courtship, the stem as a twin-tailed mermaid supporting the cornucopia, conformingly enamelled with pastoral scenes spaced by enamelled silver-gilt bands of scrolling foliage and masks, with a boar's head form mount beautifully chased with floral decor .
