Edmund Pearce
Son of Edmund Pearce of Tewkesbury in the County of Gloucester hatter, apprenticed to Henry Beesley 11 August 1693 'from the 24th day of June next' and turned over 10 November 1697 to Phillip Rollos. Free, 24 January 1704/?5. First mark entered as largeworker, 1 February 1705. Address: Strand, near the New Exchange, Strand, 1704-22. He also has Edward Pearce (cf. Edmund P.) goldsmith, London, 1720-1, which appears to derive from a misprint in Jackson, page 174. There seems no possible connection with Heal's Captain Pearce, goldsmith, Three Golden Cocks, upper end of Cheapside, 1700-3.
