An antique diamond heart brooch, circa 1880

Designed as a pair of hearts, each centring an old pear-cut diamond of 1.48 carats (G VS2) and 1.65 carats (very light pink VS2 Type 2a) respectively, each within a double surround of old mine-cut diamonds, further surmounted by an old mine-cut diamond bow motif. Gold brooch fitting detachable. Total diamond weight approx 9.00 carats. Mounted in silver and gold. With GIA.
