Rectangular with curved corners, with gadrooned border, engraved with the arms of Palmer raised on four gadrooned feet. 

These are the impaled arms of Revd. Henry PALMER (1780-1856) of Withcote Hall, nr Oakham, Leicestershire and his wife Elizabeth HEYRICK or HERRICK (1794-1860) formerly of East Carlton, Leicestershire.

Henry PALMER was the son of Sir John PALMER (1734-1817) 5th Baronet of Carlton, Leicestershire by his wife lady Charlotte GOUGH (1747-1783) daughter of Sir Henry GOUGH (1708-1774) 1st Baronet of Edgbaston. He was vicar of Carlton Curlieu, Leicestershire.

Elizabeth HERRICK, born at East Carlton, Leicestershire was the daughter of Samuel Hill HERRICK (1763-1840) by his wife Catherine ELLIS (1760-1841).
